a motherload of incorrect usage...

check out the eggcorn database, where the authors have compiled examples of "eggcorns," phrases that have been changed and used incorrectly, sometimes in a logical manner, sometimes not. example: "in one fowl swoop, the rooster attacked the line of army ants leading towards the hens' nests..." see, it should be "fell" swoop. but "fowl swoop" is creeping into the language, and honestly, makes no sense except perhaps in the example sentence i just made up.

read 'em and laugh. or cringe inwardly when you see one that you may have accidentally used incorrectly (no, of COURSE i've never done that. nope. not me. nuh-uh).
